Lisa Nakamura Vancouver
Lisa studied at Kwantlen for a year and at the Academy of Art in San Francisco on scholarship for a semester before graduating from Emily Carr in 2002 with a degree in communication design.
After graduation, Lisa worked at Karacters Design Group (DDB). There Lisa designed and developed the Life Brand packaging for Shoppers Drug Mart and designed the 2010 Paralympic Games emblem. Lisa joined Rethink in 2006 and has worked on clients including NAIT, Sobeys, Bare, Coast Capital Savings, Graphic Designers of Canada and the Vancouver Biennale. She became an associate creative director in 2010. The One Show, Communication Arts, Applied Arts, ADCC, Coupe, How, and Rockport Publishing have all recognized Lisa’s work.
In Lisa’s spare time she enjoys travelling, going to art galleries, eating tasty food, and working on her makeup blog, Smudge Style.
