Cory Philpott Vancouver
Cory is on our admin team. She handles awards and helps with trafficking. When she’s at work, Cory is busy. But busy’s an understatement. Cory’s not just busy, she’s really busy. Some would even say crazy busy. But you’ll never hear Cory complain that she’s too busy. Even though she’s extremely busy. When you call her on her mobile, you’ll likely get a busy signal. Beavers are busy, but not nearly as busy as Cory. Although she’s never too busy to lend a hand. Or two hands. Or three hands. Yep, Cory is that handy. But not nearly as handy as she is busy. Once I asked Cory to go to lunch and she said she had to wash her hair. I said no, a friendly co-worker lunch. She said, oh, sorry I’m busy.
Cory graduated with a BA in audio visual media from ITT Dublin. She spent a few years in the TV industry before joining Rethink in late 2009. She is part of the powerhouse Rethink admin team and is the face on the other side of those exciting animated sliding doors.
She calls Ireland home but spent the sunny days of her youth on the hilly shores of North Vancouver. She moved back to Dublin in 1999 but recently returned to Vancouver to see what life would throw at her.
She has been re-telling that story ever since.
Her hobbies include making birthday cards, eating cheese, lying on the floor, and laminating aforementioned birthday cards. Her hobbies don’t include snowboarding or jam making, but one day she’d like to try both.
