Strategy Magazine’s Agency of the Year Competition awarded Silver to Rethink last night in Toronto based on work for a wide range of regional, national and international clients.
The competition has several steps. First, the editors of Strategy canvass a wide range of industry leaders to create a short-list of 12 agencies. Each agency is asked to submit five case studies, which are then judged by a panel of 20 judges, made up of clients and agency principals.
Rethink’s cases included Coast Capital Savings, 2K Sports, Mr. Lube, the Dogwood Initiative and Peer 1 Web Hosting. To see all five cases, click here.
Rethink won Gold in 2006 and Silver in 2005. This year’s Gold winner was DDB Canada.
No one from Rethink was in Toronto to pick up the award (“We were too busy working on client business,” says Chris Staples, Rethink co-creative director.) The agency did prepare a short video for the awards gala summarizing its cases. See it here.
