Rail ProjectCollections

For this exhibit, Rethinkers brought in or photographed something they collect. At night all the collections come alive and have a parade through the office, and in the morning there are hats in tupperware containers and wine bottles filled with Mexican figurines.

If you want to share your collection on our site, just send a nice JPG or GIF and a short description to exhib..@rethinkcanada.com. Unless it's a nice JPG of your "adult" collection. Those, we're less interested in.

Marcus McLaughlins

I was wondering if a complete stranger would be my "friend" on Facebook based on the fact that we share not a history, but a common name. And so I set about trying to collect Marcus McLaughlins.

Of the 16 I invited, three have agreed so far. There’s Connecticut Marcus who likes Nirvana, flying and his dogs. There’s Ohio Marcus, a Christian, who remains faceless. And then there’s Brooklyn, NY Marcus who likes gummy worms, finding cash in his pocket and hanging with his crew. Each of them would claim to be the true Marcus McLaughlin. Each of them is.
