Hundreds of people attempted to walk on water during this stunt we created outside Science World. The water was mixed with two tonnes of corn starch, turning it into a “non-Newtonian liquid.” That meant if you took hard, quick steps you made it across the tank— otherwise, you sank into the goop.
Science World is a hands-on science centre offering entertaining education to families in Vancouver, British Columbia. In addition to the hundreds of interactive exhibits featured in the galleries, Science World is also home to the Alcan OMNIMAX Theatre and the Science Theatre. Science World is a vital, non-profit community resource that celebrates curiosity, creativity and the thrill of learning by promoting exploration of the arts, sciences and technology.
