Sun worshippers at Kitsilano Beach witnessed a world’s first— backvertising. A very hairy man casually strolled the busy beach on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Waxed out of his thick, luxurious back hair were the words “Parissa wax strips.” He passed out samples, talked to beach-goers, and enticed fellow hairy men— and women— to show how tough they were by publicly pulling out a section of leg hair. The stunt was a fun way to draw attention to the product in a place where smooth, silky skin is a must.
Parissa is a local Vancouver company that makes wax strips made from all natural ingredients and pre-coated with salon wax, making hair removal fast and easy. Their product is available at most drug stores across Canada.
