Making an appointment at a dealership for something as simple as an oil change is not high on most people’s list of priorities. Mr. Lube’s “No Appointment Necessary” campaign builds on last year’s anti-dealer message. But this time we move from the front of the dealership to the service desk in the rear. Here customers experience the joys of trying to make an impromptu appointment at a dealership. At the end of each spot, we contrast this experience with the convenience offered by Mr. Lube. As in last year’s campaign, we close with the question “Ready for a change?”

Mr. Lube opened in 1976 as Canada’s first quick-lube business; today they have over 90 locations across Canada. They offer convenient, no-hassle vehicle maintenance services that are warranty approved— no appointment necessary.
